![]() Yet again Mansfield Town were left cursing their luck last night as they could only grab a 1-1 draw from bottom placed club Nuneaton Town. Whilst many will see it as yet another negative result it was actually a positive one for Cox's Stags side who had lost four of their last five away fixtures in the blue square bet premier. It was yet another accomplished performance too from Mansfield who were without the better side and majorly unlucky not to take all the points, Lindon Meikle hitting the bar in the first half whilst Borough keeper McNamara was on hand to keep Ben Hutchinson, Nick Wright and the impressive Louis Briscoe out throughout, he also somehow clung onto a late John Dempster header which looked destined for the net. The Stags didn't have it all there own way though as on 49 minutes, a defensive slip from Geohaghon and then Sutton allowed Connor Taylor to progress into the box and convert the opening goal beneath Shane Redmond. Ten minutes later Nick Wright capped an excellent Stags move, nipping in at the front post to convert Briscoe's cross to level the game. In transfer news goalkeeper Liam Mitchell is now back with Notts County whilst Solomon Tawio's one month contract has ran its course and he has subsequently left the club. Due to a technical error during the first half we were unable to broadcast around ten minutes of the game for which we appologise - extended highlights will be available soon.
